Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a proven track record in operations management, preferably in ag-tech or agriculture-based sectors. The COO will oversee daily operations, optimize processes, and drive growth initiatives
that align with strategic goals. This leader will collaborate closely with the CEO to enhance operational efficiency, scale our digital platform, and improve our distribution network for agriculture appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop and execute strategies to streamline supply chain management, optimize product distribution, and improve the performance of our client's digital platform.
  
•  Translate the company’s vision into actionable and measurable operational goals, prioritizing scalability and customer satisfaction.
  
•  Process Improvement and Efficiency.
  
•  Identify and implement process improvements across departments to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
  
•  Develop robust quality assurance processes for all products and services.
  
•  Manage and enhance relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely, cost-effective product delivery.
  
•  Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate forecasting and inventory optimization to meet demand.
  
•  Mentor and develop team members across departments, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  
•  Build and lead a high performing operations team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  
•  Collaborate with the CFO to set and manage operational budgets, align spending with strategic priorities, and meet financial goals.
  
•  Track operational KPIs and provide regular performance reports to the CEO and executive team.
  
•  Support growth initiatives by identifying new market opportunities, partnerships, and innovative solutions to scale our client's footprint in the ag-tech space.
  
•  Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to improve market penetration and customer engagement.
  

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in business, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred.
  
•  10+ years of experience in operations management, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role, ideally in ag-tech, agriculture, or supply     chain focused companies.
  
•  Proven experience in managing digital platforms or ecommerce operations, with a focus on user experience and scalability.
  
•  Strong knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and vendor management within the agricultural sector.
  
•  Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  
•  Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and tracking operational KPIs.
  
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
