FactCheck Initiative (FCI) is a registered non-governmental development organization registered in Nigeria with registration number CAC/IT/NO 130560; focused on checking factual accuracy, sensitizing and proffering solutions to combat misleading news, stories, agendas or manifestos and using automated machine learning technology to share and get help across the continent and the world.

FCI was founded by ADEOYE TEMITOPE who is a strong advocate for combating misinformation and climate change. He also the founder of IDC Platforms, a multipurpose conglomerate for different digital and non-digital outfits.
