Philips Akwari is a prolific photographer who loves to tell stories with his photos. He loves Africa passionately and uses his photos as a medium of telling untold African stories. His genres of photography are food/products and landscape/fine arts.

Philips Akwari has a Diploma in Photography from The Craft Film School, New Delhi, India in 2011 after studying Geography at The University of Nigeria Nsukka and University of Ibadan in both Bachelors and Masters Degree level respectively.

But in 2013 he set up M-Visuals Photography Limited in order to render general photography services to the public. Since then they have worked for notable organizations like First Bank, Linkedin, 4corners, Intech, Magrellos fastfood, Al Grain Foods, Mediacraft, Blueflower, PRCAN among many

He has participated in two major exhibitions in 2013; The Revolutionary Artists exhibitions which held at Oriental Hotels in June 2013 and The Sparks which was organized by the Waterbrooks Foundation in August 2013. He won the best Lagos photo award in 2014 in a photo competition organized by Taskdirect now Yudala with a gift of a Dell Venue 8 tablet.

In August 2015, His photo was also selected among the 30 best photos by Nikon Nigeria in the IAM ALIVE photo competition. He is also the Photography Trainer in the Skill Acquisition Scheme organised by The House that Wisdom Built Church which has trained over 20 photographers since February 2015.
