Channels Television - Lagos, Nigeria

Channels Television is one of the thirteen privately-owned television stations in Nigeria. The station was authorized in June 1993 and granted a UHF frequency of channel 39. After two years, it commenced broadcasting under the name Channels Television and now has an audience of over twenty million viewers. This came after the Federal Government of Nigeria deregulated the broadcast media in 1992.
