CRIMMD PROFILE
Center for Research, Information Management and Media Development, (CRIMMD) a standard research developmental institution. CRIMMD is involved research, book publishing, library developments and e-library computerization. CRIMMD donated a free public library to the people of Ejigbo/IKotun, Isolo/Okota. CRIMMD Library was commissioned on December 16, 2004 by the former Federal Minister of Information, Chief Alex Akinyele JP and Deacon Ayo Oshitelu, Chairman of Ejigbo Local Government Area. The Library is a strong legacy, helping to keep the minds of a population of over 15,000 youths active and away from being the devils workshop. On June 15th 2005, CRIMMD participated in conjunction with the African Biographical Network, in the presentation of the African Entrepreneurship & leadership merit awards 2005 to honour Dignity of labour. On July 28, 2005 CRIMMD in conjunction with Abia State Government Liaison Office Welfare committee and the Spinal cord injuries association of Nigeria honoured Miss Nike Akinbola a delegate at the national political reform conference in Abuja. On January 15th 2006, CRIMMD was honoured by the Rotary Club of Ejigbo with a Rotary International Award of Distinction in Recognition of its outstanding contribution to the development of learning and research in Ejigbo. CRIMMD honoured the late Gen. Abudulkareem Adisa (rtd.) on his post humours birthday and the CRIMMD DG demanded from the Federal Government to restore the rank and all rights and privileges of late Adisa, that was striped off him after the coup that he was alleged to have been involved in. From Sept. 10 Dec. 28, CRIMMD visited and donated books to 39 Media Organizations in Nigeria, as its contribution to boost the reading culture in Nigeria. CRIMMD Library is the distribution point of the Lagos State government official magazine Lagos Indicator.

a tool for effective knowledge dissemination in Lagos State and The reading culture of Nigerians, Lagos as a case study. CRIMMD Sponsored what is today Nigerians Youngest Author, Oluebuchukwu Sharon James, the six year old girl that wrote Freedom a children Literature. CRIMMD handled the computerization of Newswatch magazine library. We are at present holding talks with the Nigerian Tribune Newspaper Library, the Library of M2 at Ikeja and The Western Newspaper Library.
