The National Council For Women Societies (NCWS) in Nigeria is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting the rights and welfare of Nigerian women and girls. It was established in 1996 with the aim of providing a platform for Nigerian women to access and share their experiences and to advocate for their rights and interests. The NCWS is committed to promoting gender equality and women's empowerment through various projects and activities. It works to create awareness of women's rights and to provide support services to women in need. The organization also works to create opportunities for economic empowerment of women, to increase access to quality education and health services, to support women in leadership roles, and to promote gender equality and social justice.
