She has vast experience in business development, risk management and international trade finance having garnered over 20 years cognate banking experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Private Banking/Wealth Management and Risk Management at Diamond and Equatorial Trust Banks. She is an alumnus of the Manchester and Lagos Business Schools. To position herself for the task of running a successful agribusiness, Dr. Fasehun attended a training program in Crop Production and Agro Food Processing at the Songhai Centre for Training, Production, Research and Development in Sustainable Agriculture at Porto-Novo, Republic of Benin. She is a member of the following professional associations:
Member, National Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA)
Associate Member, Institute of Certified Credit Administrators

Mr. Kayode Fasehun, a director of SwanCape is the Chief Executive Officer of Arrowhead Group of Companies. He is a graduate of Biochemistry from the University of Ilorin. He was the pioneer Treasurer of First Union Building Society, a post he held after working with Equatorial Trust Bank for many years. He is an entrepreneur, with vast experience in banking, auto trading and oil & gas; entrenching the core values of integrity and excellence to steer the company to its enviable heights.
SwanCape has total staff strength of 10 with our head farmers trained at the Songhai Center.
OUR BUSINESS
The core businesses of SwanCape today are vegetable and fish farming. The promoter of the company; Dr. Fasehun developed an interest in vegetable production from being unhappy each time she shopped at UK giant retail stores and bought vegetables labeled as ‘product of Kenya, Sudan, Ghana and other African countries but never Nigeria. This fueled her dream to produce vegetables and possibly other agro commodities for export. During her research and preliminary production, in addition to being a ‘healthy living” advocate, she realized that the increase in fruits and vegetables consumption was somewhat proportionate to increase in chemical consumption from synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. This rude awakening prompted her to embrace organic farming; a sustainable system that enhances the health of humans, animals, soil, plants and the planet. Research also supports the facts that produce from organic agriculture have higher mineral and vitamin content, longer shelf life and more appealing taste than those produced using conventional techniques. Consumer demand for organically grown foods have therefore continued to rise globally. Awareness is also increasing in Nigeria. It is against this backdrop that SwanCape Farms decided to carve a niche in this segment of the industry.
Given that vegetables have very short shelf life and lose their nutrients easily, if not handled properly, we adopted the Farm-to-door strategy to ensure our produce get to our clients fresh and wholesome. Our brand promise is to deliver farm fresh, healthy, organically grown produce to our clients’ kitchen within 24 hours of harvest at market price. This is achievable as we cut off middle men. To reduce delivery associated expenses we sell in clusters i.e. housing estates and offices. However, our doors to wholesalers are not closed as we readily sell any excess to the open market. With near future expansion we will also sell to supermarkets, hotels and restaurants.
We have also adopted a strategy to continue to satisfy our customers by producing specialty crops according to demand. We intend to grow by adopting modern technology to increase yield and turnaround. Hopefully, within the shortest possible time we plan to purchase a greenhouse with drip irrigation system so as to ensure year round production.
