Our Team
From the Academy’s team of teachers, veteran musicologists and seasoned instructors, we have a formidable adult orchestra and a live band. ‘The Eagles Adult Orchestra’ has performed at a number of notable music festivals and concerts. In December 2013, The Eagles Orchestra came to limelight after delivering breathtaking performances for FRCN, VON & NTA at the National Centenary Praise and Carol. Since then, The Eagles Orchestra has performed for the both at the National Carol and at the Aso Rock Villa Christmas Praise Concert hosted by His Excellency, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

Lessons
Preliminary Lessons: It is a beginners’ curriculum that offers a student with no prior musical training an introduction to the basics of music theory and piano playing which includes scales, arpeggios, basic keyboard harmony, and tonic solfa-reading. This level explores how to play accompaniment parts and improvised solos, and how to read and interpret music staff notation. While maintaining the study of repertoire that ranges from simple tunes to simple rhymes and pedagogical pieces, the student is exposed to popular pieces of various contemporary musicians. At the end of this level, the student takes both practical and theory exam before progressing to the next grade.
