 Josepdam Ports Services Nigeria Limited (JPS) was incorporated in January 2006 as a subsidiary of JOSEPDAM & SONS NIGERIA LIMITED.
In May 2006, the same year JPS won a concession contract with the federal Government to handle bulk and general cargo. Our Terminal otherwise known as TERMINAL “A”is situated at 2nd Gate, Tin Can Island Port Complex, Apapa.
The Terminal occupies 3 berths (TC1, TC1A and TC2) with an average draught of 12 Metres, measuring 484 metres long, which can accommodate 3 ships of 140m length at the same time. Two bigger Vessels of 180m length and a small ship with 100m length can also berth simultaneously.

used for storage of general/Project cargo (e.g Steel products, Pipes, Machinery Products, Containers and Vehicles).
Josepdam Terminal is a multipurpose terminal and her business activities include cargo discharge and handling, Ports Management and warehousing.
99% of the company`s operations consist of imported goods and services.
In year 2013, Over 155 Vessels called Our Terminal and about 2, 783, 856 metric tonnes of cargo was discharged and delivered to varrious consignees.

 FORKLIFTS AND CLAMPS
Our forklifts ranges between 5 – 32 tons and are operated by our able and efficient forklift operators.

 BAGGING MACHINES AND VESSELS GRABS.
Our bagging machines and grabs are well maintained for smooth running operation of re- bagging bulk (BULK IN BAGGED OUT) e.g Rice, soya Beans, Fertilizer e.t.c

 SECURITY
Josepdam Operates at security Level one, with well installed and functional CCTV.
She enages the services of a contract professional Sercurity company, 6 (nos) Armed policemen and 38 (nos) Guards to ensure cargoes brought into the Terminal are well secured.

In addition, we are bold to say that our terminal is ISPS Compliant.
